After his 19 year career at Donnelley, he shifted direction to become the Director of Marketing of Strategy and New Business Development at Hess Management Company.

Prior to joining The Argus Press, Ford served as President of Des Plaines Printing, LLC and the John S. Swift Co., Inc., two leading commercial printing companies located in the Chicago metro market.

With his vast experience in the Chicago market, Ford has been able to focus on growing sales and new business, and is comfortable and apt to developing digital as well as eplatform solutions.

“By utilizing his marketing experience and his familiarity with the industry, Ford was the obvious choice to head our Chicago division,” said Carl Norton, CEO of Nationwide Graphics/Premier Print Organization.

“The Argus Press is a well-known industry leader in Chicago, and I’m looking forward to developing and implementing cross-strategy solutions for our existing customers and prospects,” Ford said. With his background in both printing and marketing, Ford was an excellent fit for the position at Argus, as he will be spearheading the notion that The Argus Press is more than an average print shop, it is a one-stop communications resource.
