Flottman Co. Employee Marks 14 Years of Helping Others
CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY—Dec. 14, 2011—For the past 14 years, Terry Simpson, quality assurance supervisor at the Flottman Co., has been organizing a charitable collection program that benefits families of the United Ministries in Boone and Kenton Counties in Kentucky. He has been coordinating the collection and distribution of food, gifts and financial support for those less fortunate.
According to Tom Flottman, CEO, Simpson has done an “exceptional job enabling us all to help those less fortunate. His caring for others during the holiday season is unmatched.”
Recently the Printing Industry of Ohio and Northern Kentucky featured Simpson and his efforts in its quarterly newsletter, honoring him as one the industry leaders in “Giving Back in the Spirit of the Holidays.” Simpson and the Flottman Co. have created one of the industry’s longest-running programs.
As Simpson stated, “This is my chance to give back and having the help of all our employees makes it extra special. The United Ministries folks have come to rely on our contributions each year to help make the season brighter for those less fortunate. It warms my heart to be able to continue to help others, especially during the holiday season.”
