Fire Strikes Vertis Plant

BRISTOL, PA—A Vertis Inc. printing facility here recently caught fire in a second floor storage loft, according to the Bucks County Courier Times. No injuries were reported.

The blaze broke out during a shift change in an area where pallets and cardboard are stored, the paper said. The fire was contained to the area by sprinkler systems.

Grace Platon, director of communications for Vertis, noted that the Bristol plant produces direct marketing materials. No client collateral was damaged in the blaze. The cause of the fire and estimated damage were still being assessed.

“We’re confident we can satisfy all customer commitments,” Platon added.
