COHOES, NY—Oct. 19, 2012—In support of the third and final presidential debate of the 2012 election, Mohawk has partnered with Océ and Lynn University to provide the printed materials for the event. The debate between President Barack Obama and Republican challenger, Mitt Romney, will be held on Oct. 22, 2012, in the Keith C. and Elaine Johnson Wold Performing Arts Center on the campus of Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL.
Océ, a Silver Sponsor of the debate, called upon Mohawk to partner in this momentous occasion because of its high-quality products, and specifically Mohawk’s new Specialty Digital Substrates. The ability for Mohawk to provide a wide range of synthetic materials and premium papers for the production of event materials—press releases, guidebooks, campus maps, programs, car decals, window signs, and commemorative posters—was a key factor in the coordination of this multifaceted project.
“It’s an honor for Mohawk to be asked by Océ to participate in this important historical event. Mohawk has always been a supporter of educational institutions, and we were happy to supply the materials needed to produce the printed materials for the final debate,” said Chris Harrold, vice president, business development, digital technologies, Mohawk.
Mohawk is North America’s largest privately owned manufacturer of fine papers, envelopes and specialty substrates for commercial and digital printing. Mohawk papers are chosen for commercial printing, photo specialties and high-end direct mail.
