Enfocus Reports High Numbers of Visitors and Leads at GRAPH EXPO

GENT, BELGIUM—October 25, 2012—Enfocus vice president Fabian Prudhomme says that Enfocus Switch automation was the star of this month's GRAPH EXPO in Chicago. Not only did twice the number of attendees visit the Enfocus exhibit as compared to 2011, the majority asked for information and demonstrations of Switch; thereby marking the first time another Enfocus product line surpassed Enfocus PitStop in leads as well as inquiries.

Now available as affordable modules specific to need; the growing Switch brand is  attracting more end-users as well as OEM partners seeking ways to automate repetitive tasks across existing or new workflows. As a result, Switch is showing 36 percent growth over last year, and was critical to the organization's overall five percent growth over the same period.

Industry Experts Commend Enfocus on Switch Automation
"The company that leads the world in graphic arts quality control with PitStop may indeed become the world leader in automation," says David Zwang, an internationally recognized graphic arts production expert and author who is also a consultant to corporations, production houses, and governments around the globe. Enfocus Credits Easy Integration and Easy-to-Learn Automation for Switch's Increasing Popularity
Enfocus believes that both its work to educate the market, as well as its development focus on open, easily-integrated automation that emphasizes practicality, are key to Switch's increasing rate of growth.

"Enfocus' experience and knowledge of automation is unique, and we've therefore felt we should help the industry by taking on the role of educating professionals regarding their automation options," Prudhomme says. To point, the company recently premiered the Enfocus Smart Automation Center. The Smart Automation Center's white papers, infographics, basic automation flows, real use cases, webinars and movies give professionals a variety of ways to understand and utilize automation. Moreover, there is growing interest in Enfocus' Crossroads partnership program, which represents an international community of Switch users and companies who build and market their solutions around Switch. Prudhomme says Enfocus has specific plans to take this corporate program to the next level, in 2013.

In terms of practicality, Switch's modular, open automation platform gives printers, publishers, ad agencies and other companies higher overall efficiency across departments—affordably. Conversely, automation is part of an increasing number of vendor workflows and, in most if not all other cases, is proprietary to those companies and their products. Switch, on the other hand, integrates with any system configuration-proprietary or not.
