Dow Jones Invests in Kodak Platesetters

NEW YORK—Dow Jones & Co. purchased 14 Kodak Trendsetter News 150 thermal CTP platesetters and 17 Kodak Prinergy Evo workflow systems as part of a modernization effort at six of its printing plants. Dow Jones produces The Wall Street Journal, the second largest newspaper in the country by circulation.
The agreement with Kodak will bring digital platemaking technology to the company’s facilities in Chicopee, MA; Bowling Green, OH; LaGrange, GA; Dallas; Palo Alto, CA; and South Brunswick, NJ. Also, Prinergy Evo workflow systems will be installed at the Dow Jones advertising services location in Orlando, FL.
