Dolce Printing Acquires Graytor Printing

September 19, 2011
MAYWOOD, NJ—Sept. 19, 2011—Dolce Printing, specialists in fine-quality printing, announces that it has acquired Graytor Printing’s award-winning printing business located in Lyndhurst, NJ. Graytor will remain a separate division under the Dolce Pritning umbrella brand, but will physically merge into Dolce’s Maywood operations.

Graytor Printing has been family operated for 63 years. Dolce ($8 million in sales, #377 on Printing Impressions PI 400 ranking), like Graytor, is a family run company and both companies share a customer-centric business philosophy. The merging of Graytor and Dolce will make available to Graytor’s loyal customers an even wider range of services and products.

Many of the Graytor personnel from the sales, production, customer service and estimating departments have already moved into Dolce’s offices.

James Dolce, president of Dolce Printing commented that, “Graytor printing equipment will be moved to Dolce’s Maywood location next week and should be operational within six weeks. It is expected that bindery and special finishing equipment from Graytor’s Lyndhurst facility will be operational at our Maywood location by early November.”

According to Glenn Dolce, the vice president, “Graytor has built a national reputation for intricate, complex and high-end print projects of small quantity and extremely high quality. We have admired their work for many years. Here at Dolce, we have built our international reputation of high-volume sheetfed printing with state-of-the-art production automation at unparalleled value to our customers. The combination of the two companies will provide both customer bases with an expanded platform of enhanced printing services, capabilities and expertise.”

Dolce Printing Managing Partner Nick Stillo added, “This combination personifies the merging of technique with technology. Combining the expertise of Graytor’s boutique technique and blending it with the expertise of Dolce’s technology creates a valuable and unique communications resource for not only the tri-state area but for our customers nationally and in Europe.”
