August 2006
DAYTONA BEACH, FL—August 07, 2006—Punch Graphix, through its Xeikon brand, announces the purchase of two Xeikon 5000 digital color press by Direct Mail Express (DME), a leading provider of one-to-one direct marketing solutions.

According to Alin Jacobs, VP-Creative Strategies, DME, “Unique and highly personalized direct mail campaigns form the core of DME’s multimedia direct marketing approach. The Xeikon 5000 further strengthens our direct mail print production capabilities. We chose the Xeikon 5000 because it’s a truly high volume digital color press. Furthermore, it is the only digital color press on the market that has a web width of 20” with virtually no restriction on the length of the printed piece.”

According to Robert Mayerson, VP-Digital Sales, North America, Punch Graphix Americas, “DME is a direct marketing powerhouse. Companies from various industries have benefited from DME’s commitment to marketing excellence. The Xeikon 5000 enables DME to further differentiate themselves. We are happy to be a part of their continued success.”

About DME

DME has grown in the direct marketing industry through its solid, dependable managerial base and aggressive, consistent vision. Tom Panaggio joined DME in the year following its inception, and has since formed and governs DME’s successful sister company Response Mail Express. Chief Operations Officer Kathy Wise joined the company in 1983, and was instrumental in charting DME’s growth. In 1997 Michael Walther became another vital part of the DME team, and was appointed President two years later. At inception, direct mail played a minor role relative to the marketing of incentive premiums. However, DME’s vision of personalized communication with the intention of creating customer profiles quickly transformed the landscape.
