Delmarva Paper to Acquire New Press, Facility

SALISBURY, MD—The Daily Times newspaper, based here, will be acquiring a new printing press and production facility with a price tag of $6.5 million.
The new 48,000-square-foot facility is slated to open in early 2008. A Goss Urbanite web press will allow the paper to print up to 48 pages of full color. It replaces a 29-year-old press.
The Gannett-owned Daily Times is the flagship publication of the Delmarva Media Group, which includes nine weekly newspapers.
