Creditors Suing Sunny Industries
August 2006
MAZOMANIE, WI—A pair of lawsuits seeking more than $7 million have been brought against the Sunny Industries printing firm, according to a report in the Wisconsin State Journal. The lawsuits, brought by two equipment financing companies, seek full repayment of the loans or the presses that were obtained with the money, the paper said.
Sunny Industries President Michael Spitz told the paper that the disputes can be resolved through existing talks aimed at extending the terms of the loans. The cases stemmed from two missed payments several months ago, Spitz told the Journal.
