Aging Presses Replaced With One

VENTURA, CA—Jano Graphics recently installed a 29˝, five-color Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 75 equipped with Prinect Press Center technology. The press replaced two aging units. Technology was a key factor in the company’s decision to go with the new Heidelberg. “Prinect technology enables faster makereadies, reduces job cycle times and significantly reduces makeready waste,” says Larry Embley, director of sales and marketing. “For Jano, this translates into lower costs, increased capacity and ‘greener efficiency.’ ”

The company caters to advertising agencies, universities and corporations, and already employs a 40˝, six-color Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102 press.
