Lehigh Direct Gets First CMYK Version of Printheads

August 13, 2010
BROADVIEW, IL—Lehigh Direct, a direct marketing services provider specializing in imaged, in-line personalized customer communications, is the first U.S. company to leverage the CMYK capability of the Kodak Prosper S10 Imprinting System. The system is designed to enable partial- and full-page variable color printing in-line at full speeds with a web offset press or web finishing line. Kodak's Prosper S10 system uses Kodak Stream inkjet technology.

Lehigh Direct, a division of Visant Corp., anticipates a variety of opportunities for its customers with the ability to enhance direct mail by blending high-quality offset with digital full-color variable data. It will also enable specialty printing capabilities, including metallics, heavy color saturation, scratch-off coatings and other specialty inks to create a high-value product that can be customized with process color imaging in-line at high production speeds. The solution is suited to direct mail, catalog and other custom publishing solutions.
