Candid Litho’s “Print: Trending in New York”

LONG ISLAND CITY, NY—August 21, 2013—Join one of New York City’s preeminent integrated printing facilities at their announced Open House. Candid Litho in conjunction with The Advertising Production Club’s (APC-NYC) September meeting is hosting “Print: Trending In New York,” a four-hour live interactive tour of a working commercial print manufacturing facility on Thursday, September 19th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rooftop reception will give attendees the chance to network, meet friends and make new contacts with industry colleagues.

Candid Litho, under the management of Howie Weinstein, has become a well-known, high-quality firm offering a full array of traditional print technology, as well as the latest in digital and large format printing, including out-of-home advertising support.

During the open house, the APC-NYC will conduct a membership drive, inviting existing and new companies, individuals and students to join and support the APC-NYC. The Graphic Communications Scholarship Foundation (GCSF) has established a strategic alliance with the APC and will be there to explain its scholarship offerings.

It should be noted that both the APC-NYC and GCSF donate 100 percent of all funds raised to support local students entering the myriad of printing, publishing, and graphic communications-related fields. Both organizations provide students with mentoring for job search, career development and professional advice.
