CA Worker's Arm Crushed in Press

CERRITOS, CA—An employee of Apperson Print Resources here was trapped for nearly an hour early Thursday when his arm was crushed in a printing press, according to the Los Angeles Daily News. Firefighters used the hydraulic "jaws of life" and other tools to free the victim.
The unidentified victim spent 53 minutes in the machine before being liberated, according to the paper. He was transported to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange, CA.
