Bookmasters Adds Six New U.K.-Based Publishers as POD, Distribution Clients
ASHLAND, OH—Feb. 15, 2012—Bookmasters has expanded its roster of international publishing clients with the addition of six new U.K.-based publishers:
- Arcturus Publishing,
- Heni Publishing and Salma Editions,
- House of Stratus,
- Stripe Publishing,
- Management Briefs, and
- Quintessentially Publishing.
Arcturus Publishing—a trade publisher with a strong concentration in art instruction, children’s, history, true crime, body, mind and spirit, and general reference books—has signed on with Bookmasters for North American distribution, print-on-demand (POD), and global eBook distribution services.
“Arcturus has decided to work with Bookmasters because of its reach, competence, and flexibility,” said Paul Byers, international sales manager for Arcturus Publishing. “Bookmasters is keen to work with us in driving sales through distribution, special sales, and mass merchandisers. Furthermore, they offer an intelligent combination of stock holding, POD and short-run printing, and marketing of eBooks. We anticipate strong sales in all channels.”
House of Stratus—a publisher of English literary classics—has entered into an agreement for North American distribution and print-on-demand.
Quintessentially Publishing—a publisher of quality books with a focus on high-end popular culture—has entered into an agreement for North American distribution of print and eBooks.
Rounding out the list are Heni Publishing and Salma Editions, a publisher of fine-art titles; Stripe Publishing, a publisher of popular “name” books; and Management Briefs, a publisher of practical books for small business professionals.
“The addition of all these high-quality U.K. publishers and their titles gives our trading partners access to materials that would otherwise be very hard to find in the United States,” added Larry Bennett, Bookmasters’ president of distribution services.
Titles from Bookmasters’ new overseas publishers will be available through major retailers and wholesalers, including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Ingram, and Baker & Taylor.
