Bond Helps Float Web Press Purchase
May 2006
WAUKESHA, WI--J.B. Kenehan, a web and sheetfed printer, cranked on its new four-color Goss M-500 web press Thursday, thanks to $3.4 million in revenue bonds from the state of Wisconsin. The press acquisition means the company will be adding 36 new jobs.
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, this marked the third time that J.B. Kenehan has used industrial revenue bonds to augment its operations. The company, which had fewer than 20 employees in 2000, will have close to 100 with the added positions, the paper said.
