Folder/Gluer Folds Variety of Box Styles

COMMACK, NY—Beyer Graphics, a commercial printer turned folding carton converter, has added its fourth Bobst folder/gluer: an ExpertFold 110-A2 CS. The company specializes in pharmaceutical and consumer goods packaging.

The new machine’s A2 configuration gives Beyer Graphics the capability to fold more than 3,000 different box styles, including a range of straight line and crash-lock boxes. It also allows Beyer to fold carton board and N, F and E micro-flute corrugated board. Plus, the unit can run product at speeds up to 1,476 fpm.

“We’re fortunate enough to have grown our business over the past year so, to better meet the demand and serve our clients, we needed the increased capacity,” reports Dan Beyer. “Eventually, we’ll be moving into Braille with the addition of an AccuBraille unit directly to the ExpertFold,” he adds.
