Atlantic & Hastings Printers has started its own mailing division to complement its commercial printing and fulfillment capabilities. The operation is built around the WaveJet addressing system with H-P ink-jet technology coupled to a KR feeder-transport system and a KR535 tabbing system, all from Kirk-Rudy.

Boelter Industries of Winona, MN, has installed a Signature Elite 110 folder/gluer and Signature Sure-feed prefeeder from American International Machinery.

In Cedar Falls, IA, Woolverton Printing is now operating a new Muller Martini Presto saddlestitcher configured with six pockets and a cover feeder.

Service Printers of Flowood, MS, recently installed a Kluge EHD rebuilt foil stamping, embossing and diecutting press. The press includes the lightweight toggle base and missed sheet detector options.

A Brandtjen & Kluge EHD series press was chosen by Seaboard Bindery in Woburn, MA, for finishing printed products like pocket folders, stationery, book covers and more. The new EHD series press will operate in conjunction with its Kluge UniFold automatic folder/gluer.

In Roseville, MN, Diecraft Inc., a producer of steel rule die and diecutting technology for the commercial printing industry, has purchased a LaserSharp 300XY digital laser converter from LasX Industries.

BindTech Inc., a privately owned trade bindery/book manufacturer based in Nashville, TN, has purchased a Tecnograf thin book casing-in line to become a player in the children's book market.

Contra Costa County Print Shop in Concord, CA, recently added a Polar 78X cutter to update its existing finishing equipment. Founded in 1970, the facility houses 20 employees.
