Insolvent LVI’s Assets Bought by DS Graphics

WORCESTER, MA—Bankrupt digital printer LaVigne Inc. (LVI) has been purchased by DS Graphics (DSG) of Lowell, MA. Terms of the deal were not revealed, and plans for the combined entity are still in development.

The LVI facility will continue to operate at its present location, with CEO Chris Wells remaining on board to lead the integration of client relationships, as well as LVI’s sales and service teams.

“We have been impressed with DSG’s professionalism, innovation, culture and process-driven orientation throughout the diligence process,” Wells noted.

“Our clients will benefit from the additional services that DSG offers, while maintaining the relationships and technology LVI has provided over the years.”

DS Graphics President Jeff Pallis said the combination of LVI’s talent, knowledge, technology prowess and service capabilities will benefit his company’s client base. DSG offers printing, mailing, fulfillment and creative services.
