Arandell Launches Exclusive Mobile Commerce Solution for Catalogers

MENOMONEE FALLS, WI—August 28, 2012—Arandell Corp., the premier catalog printer, mailer and distributor in the United States, announced an exclusive partnership with Boulder-based mShopper to help catalog publishers take advantage of the USPS 2012 Holiday Mobile Shopping Promotion and save up to 3 percent on monthly postage costs.
 
Arandell has made it easy for catalog publishers to realize these savings. mShopper’s platform allows catalogers to create mobile-friendly mStores for their entire catalog, along with QR codes to easily drive traffic, without any IT integration needed. Catalog companies create thousands of mobile-friendly product and promotional pages that reduce postage costs and immediately generate more sales by improving the shopping experience.

Many catalog publishers do not realize that the USPS has extended its very successful mobile commerce promotion into the 2012 Holiday season. The Holiday Mobile Shopping Promotion will provide business mailers with an upfront 2 percent postage discount on Standard Mail and First-Class Mail letters, flats and cards. Retailer can save an additional 1 percent if they use Priority Mail. These print materials must include a mobile barcode or print/mobile technology that is readable by a mobile device and links recipients to a mobile-optimized shopping website.
 
The USPS promotion is designed to showcase how technology and mail can work together. The post office is hoping to encourage mailers to send more mail and is counting on consumer interest in technology to drive revenue for mailers such as catalogers.
