Agfa Graphics Brings Real-World Inkjet Experience to Sign Expo
ELMWOOD, PARK, NJ—March 14, 2012—Attendees of the 2012 International Sign Expo looking for ways to increase their product offerings and increase profit potential should stop at the Agfa Graphics booth (#1036). The Agfa Graphics “Application Zone,” a comprehensive showcase of real-world applications that creatively demonstrate unusual inkjet output, is the centerpiece of the Agfa booth, and will be surrounded by several new and popular inkjet engines that create those applications and many more.
The “Application Zone” will feature inkjet-created tile flooring, lamp shades, fine art replicas, decorative fabrics and wall murals. There will also be the more traditional inkjet applications – such as retail POP, backlits, window graphics, vehicle wraps and more – to see at the Agfa Graphics booth. Digital print providers can learn how adding inkjet engines from Agfa Graphics can provide new revenue streams by broadening their new product offerings while also making them an essential business and marketing partner.
“Inkjet technology and media from Agfa Graphics give print service providers the ability to mix a splash of imagination and creativity into the printing mix for their clients,” said Deborah Hutcheson, director of Marketing, Agfa Graphics, North America. “Inkjet printing can expand a print shop’s capabilities exponentially and attract business in new markets.”
In addition to the Application Zone, there will be several inkjet systems running live at the Agfa Graphics booth, including:
- The new, versatile entry-level UV flatbed, the :Anapurna M2540 FB, is designed to accommodate small as well as large applications, including promotional goods and gifts, coasters, DVDs, glass, ceramics, wood and more.
- The 36-head :Jeti 3020 Titan FTR (flat-to-roll), with white ink, a field-upgradeable (16 heads in base configuration, expandable up to 48), grand-format, flatbed UV inkjet printing system that offers ten different levels of speed and quality capabilities.
