Wausau Paper Corp., which has struggled to restructure the division that makes paper for printed publications and writing, announced Monday that it is reviewing a range of options for the division, including a sale. Wausau Paper made the announcement as it reported a sharp drop in sales and earnings in the quarter ended Sept. 30.
“The company is working with its financial adviser in continuing to evaluate a range of alternatives for the print and color business,” Wausau said in a statement. “The results of that evaluation of alternatives are uncertain at this time.”
