The Social Security numbers of thousands of Derry Township (PA) residents have been exposed. Officials with a West Shore printing company (Security Savings Systems) admit they made a mistake and they are offering identity theft protection to the taxpayers whose personal information was exposed.
The printing company's owner said the mistake happened because the company was trying to conserve paper. The forms were supposed to be cut below the instructions (se video).
